Hey! My name is Anastasia. I have obtained the International Baccalaureate Diploma in Dubai where I specialized in higher-level English Language and Literature, Psychology and Visual Arts.

At the start of my teaching career, I gained my knowledge through practice and by obtaining my TKT certification. I decided to become an English Tutor because I was always fascinated by the process of teaching particularly the act of educating people around you in a fun and interactive way. Specifically, that inspires me to continue my journey of sharing the beauty and power of the English Language.

I have been teaching for over three years both in Russia and Dubai. Throughout my years of teaching, I have met many interesting and incredible people who inspired the person that I am today. My philosophy is that every student is my friend because I believe that this approach allows the student and the teacher to create a connection that allows them to understand each other's goals while incorporating the students' interests.

Why choose me as your Tutor? I can promise you that our lessons will feel like a relaxing chat with your friend because I will make sure to accompany the academic practice with videos/games/chats to ensure that you don't feel overwhelmed with information. I will make sure to customize the course to your needs. Therefore, the course will be set out to concentrate on elements that need more practice for example: grammar, vocabulary, speaking, reading, writing, etc. These skills will be practiced in the context of your interests and many interactive activities which include: games, role-playing, guessing, matching, etc. I can assure you that after taking a set of classes with me you will be able to gain a clear understanding of the language and reach your desired goal.

I am very friendly, energetic, and patient with all of my students which allows me to build a great relationship with them as a result of creating a very comfortable and judgment-free atmosphere.

Audio/Video policy I prefer to pay attention to the student's facial expressions and body language which is why I recommend video and audio on the lesson because it allows us to build a stronger understanding of each other. However, if you are uncomfortable or nervous particularly in the first lessons I am more than happy to keep the lessons as Audio only.

If you need to cancel a lesson or reschedule it please make sure to contact your teacher 12 hours before the starting time of your lesson otherwise you will be charged for the lesson because of your absences.
